Un documental realizado en 2008, que en voz de los protagonistas muestra cómo se desarrolla el proceso autonómico del EZLN, sus avances, logros y desafíos, en un contexto de ocupación militar, hostigamiento paramilitar con complicidad gubernamental y permanentes amenazas para los comunarios, que pese a todo siguen adelante con su proyecto.
